Welcome to the first issue of my newsletter, Your Weekly Three!
The goal of this is to give you three big questions each week to reflect on, to help you make real changes in your life.
Sometimes, you don’t need more information…
But rather, the right questions to point yourself in the right direction.
The theme of this week is balance.
So let’s get right to it.
↓
Your 3 Questions:
1.) What is something I’m doing too much?
2.) What is something I’m not doing enough?
3.) How can I change that this week?
Spend a moment reflecting on each of these.

Happiness is Balance
This year, I visited some of the most beautiful places I’ve ever seen:
Italy, Switzerland, Maldives, and Kashmir.
Each one felt like a dream — breath-taking nature, vibrant food, and watercolor skies that look like the Heavens.
The beauty was so overwhelming, I couldn’t help but feel emotional at times.
But here’s the twist…
I don’t actually want to live in any of those places. (At least not right now.)
And I think there’s a powerful lesson in that.
Beauty should be tasted—not clung to.
There was a time in my life when I’d experience something incredible…
A spiritual high. A breathtaking destination. An adventure that made me feel alive…
And my first instinct was to hold onto it forever.
I wanted to physically move to the location, change my lifestyle, and make my temporary highs permanent.
But the more I tried to grasp it all… …the less I appreciated it.
And the reason is simple:
We can truly only appreciate good things from a state without attachment.
Think about it, have you ever seen an addict actually enjoy the thing they’re addicted to?
Attachment to pleasure only reduces our ability to feel pleased.
Strive for balance
In many cases, it’s usually better to uplift your daily life, than to blow it all up with extreme changes.
You know, the small things like…
Decorating your house. Exercising regularly. Eating quality foods. Reading interesting books. Working a job you like.
When your usual, regular life feels enjoyable — you can better appreciate the good stuff (without getting all weird about it).
That’s why now, I’m happiest taking short vacations…
Really savoring them…
Then returning back to my somewhat normal life.
With love,
Shane Gregoire
