Yet as time passes, we often set them aside…
We get lost in our work.
We conform to people around us.
We neglect our own needs to meet somebody else’s.
Sometimes, that might be necessary — like a parent for their child.
But when neglect becomes the norm, we suffer.
And it doesn’t just cost us, but the world around us.
