Your blindspots

Hey friend,

Can you guess the #1 most underrated self help tool?

It’s not journaling…
It’s not affirmations…
It’s not therapy…

In my opinion, it’s a healthy relationship.

Not because a relationship supports you…

But because it exposes your blindspots.

You see, all of us are carrying around some amount of unhealthy behaviors that we’re not even aware of:

Bad habits we picked up from friends.
Reactions we learned from parents.
Behaviors we’ve seen online.
Or perhaps healthy responses we were never taught…

A healthy relationship acts like a mirror to all of this, exposing our shadow to another person.

There are only two options:

  1. Improve yourself
  2. Throw away something good.

Sometimes it’s painful, but this is how we grow — whether that means softening our heart, learning respect, or creating boundaries.

Your relationships can be the best tool you have…

So listen to feedback and be open to change.

Your 3 Questions:

1.) What feedback do I often get in my relationships?

2.) When does this usually happen?

3.) How can I improve that this week?

Spend a moment reflecting on each of these.

If you had a breakthrough on this, I’d love to hear about it!

Have a wonderful week.

With love,

Shane Gregoire
